Howdy Y'all

Thank you so much for stopping by...the title is intentional. If a girl from the South with dyslexia can learn to master grammar, swallow her accent for the most part, and teach with confidence, I believe every one of my children are capable of learning. I had a teacher who would not give up on me. If I can be that teacher for my students, I feel I've done my job.

New School Year!


Welcome to the 2011-2012 school year! I am so excited to start the year off right. I look forward to meeting many of you at tonight's Meet the Teacher event. Please make sure your child knows your email address or forward it to lalkj@talawanda.org, so I can keep you up to date on due dates, special projects, and reminders. It was great to meet all of my 'kids' yesterday, and I'm looking forward to an excellent school year!
